BLUE ISBARS - Pictures and discussion

Hello, I had one of 9 that made it to lockdown hatch earlier today...he or she was just shy of 21 days. I'm hoping the rest are going to hatch tonight or tomorrow. They are rocking, and one already cracked it's shell. I'm amazed at how much earlier Izzy or Blue (obviously the name depends on if...

On day 17 of my incubator and heat went to 105, are my chicks dead?

Just a small update: one chick hatched this morning and is completly dry and LOUD. One egg has a hole on the shell and I'm guessing it will hatch before morning if it makes it. I had one pip yesterday and had a bunch of yellow fluid come out...it isn't alive anymore and is still in the...

On day 17 of my incubator and heat went to 105, are my chicks dead?

I had a similar problem at day 10. Mine went up to 106. I checked them and still saw movement so I have high hopes at least a few will hatch. I'm not sure how long the temp was high. At least a few hours. (3-5 hours). I hit day 19 tomorrow and they'll be taken off the rotating thing.
