They are great heritage Breed meat chickens. We have crossed them with our Light Brahmas and Jersey Giants. They are huge! These are really sharp looking, tight clean birds. Able to take care of themselves and any chicks. Worth every penny on your farm!
Excellent ! They are quiet, easy to tame, lay eggs and raise and hatch them without any help. They are my favorite duck breed out of all I have had ! :)

Absolutely normal when they "quiet" down. Sometimes they will start to pip, you think they will never hatch; then you go do something else(dishes, laundry etc) and they are already out and half dry when you get back. It usually takes eggs from 1-3 days to hatch, some are just quicker than...
