One of our four chickens, a 2year old Easter Egger has started going in coop and roosting during the day. They are all molting and have stopped laying. Catherine (who is roosting) is top of the pecking order. She is molting the most of the four. Has any one had a similar experience?

Is this something to be concerned about. What is it?
We have an Easter egger that most of the time layes normal looking eggs but now and than some of them have a ridge / band that goes around the egg (see photo). Is this normal, safe etc?
Figured it out, egg was layed by Emily who I thought was not in laying condition. But it turns out that she is the signs are just much more subtle with her.
