Roos and Hens for this species have a color difference. Hens tend to be darker than Roos, when I compared your picture with other pictures (using google) this chick appears to be a roo . I also found a picture from an older post.

I've gotta get another good look at his comb.. this is buggin me . I'll take another look tomorrow, and get a really good look at his comb, maybe a close up shot.. Any other guesses?
