I would think that I would end up with "PWL" chicks but the hatchery says that they are hybrids. Here is what McMurrays has to say,
"The most productive meat birds and egg layers available today are hybrids that result from the crosses of different breeds of chickens. These include Pearl White...
i'll ask the owner to send me a side shot. but i was leaning towards a white rock also. she's looking to give him away for free and i've been looking for a white leghorn rooster.
i do the same...
i typically keep the smaller eggs for me and sell the nice big ones. don't get me wrong, often i find monster eggs that will not fit into a jumbo carton so i keep those too. i've been fortunate to get a ton of 18-pak cartons from customers.
so when i start getting way too many...
A couple of my leghorns have been laying soft rubbery eggs. i've been finding them on the poop board first thing in the morning. but by the time i get there all i find is the rubbery shell which just looks like a popped balloon. this has been happening 1 -2 times a week, most of the time i find...

i was very pleased with the end results. i painted the door of the coop...

the run is constructed of heavy duty chainlink panels. each panel is 6' x 12'. i also used these same panels to enclose the run on top.
i would have imagined that these panel would have supported most vines......maybe i'm wrong.
are the morning glorys a perenial? would they survive the harsh new england winters?
also, i love the deep shade that the squash vine provides. thats exactly the type of shading i'm looking for.
my run however is 6' high and 12' wide x 18' long. so i'm looking for something that would be able to...
