    I can hardly wait until 10:30 am Tomorrow!!! I will be in lock-down on my second batch! I am about to plug in my 2nd incubator and get it heat up and humidity up!     I actually got my incubator from TSC. It was 39.99 which was on sale at the time. It is a still-Air but it works great for another $40 you can purchase an egg turner.

    Sorry to hear about your batch..Although you have found new use for your bator, I would not give up if I was you. That is funny about using potting soil. It does keep the humdity up. Maybe a new Idea!

    I live in SouthEast Texas, the weather has been fairly nice. They are in a 10 x 8 Pen outdoors. With shade during most of the day. There is grass on the grown where they are. They have plenty to do.

    My Goose laid a soft shell egg before. I thought it was unique it was an egg but like rubber. I didn't think about putting it in the bator. I sure it would be easy for it to dry out. Has anyone tried it before???
