We dont know what breed of guineafowl we have so google images was no help. As far as noise it sounds more trumpet like than a male but it does the drill sounding noise that males make. So posting here in the hopes that you guys and gals might be able to tell.
My neighbor and I have read all the supplied links and they have started treating not only their flock but their yard. I looked over my own flick and thankfully nothing on mine. But thank you everyone for your help.
So my neighbors ducks keep getting these black patches on them. When they finally got a closer look the patches look like thousands of fleas. She is wondering what she could do to rid her ducks of this. Included a picture.
We put her in a warm bath and took large tums tablet and broke it up into bite sized pieces. We covered it thinly with yogurt and rolled it ensue it suet crunch seed mix to make it more palatable. Within two hours she had passed two eggs. She is doing much better now.
She was egg bound. We put her in the tub filled with warm water and fed her one yogurt and seed coveted tums and less than two hours later she passed 2 eggs. She is doing much better now. And she never had any problems previously.

I'm new to chickens, and not very good at it. Recently, just the past four or five days, my two older chickens have fallen I'll. It started with callus like bumps on their eyes and comb. Now each on has a swollen closed eye and the rooster has black crusty stuff around the eye. I have...
