Are The Hens very good layers ?

I have 28 pullets & 2 roosters I am wanting to know at what age will my pullets begin laying they are 18 weeks old & cackling up a storm lol

My Light Brahma's are 3.5 months old .Last year i bought some Black Jersey Giants from the same hatchery & no a one of them died not a single one & i feed them exactly the same feed Bartlett 20% Layer pellets same age with i took the light off of them I did the exactly the same routine everyday...
