I have been doing research, But I am reading a lot of conflicting info, So I just wasn't sure. One site says once they have it there is nothing you can do and alludes to death and impending doom. Another says to Vaccinate all with no symptoms but not to vaccinate those with symptoms because it...

I need help!! I guess my two Buff Orp's have recently come down with Fowl Pox... I don't see any symptoms in my silkies or my Barred Rock. Everyone is eating fine and seem healthy. Just the two Buff Orps have the scabby looking things on their combs and wattles... Is there anything I can...

Yeah, the muscovies don't really mess with the Orpingtons or the barred rock, but they get those silkies whenever they come near. I think I just need to expand their area more, which i plan to do, just haven't had time yet. I really want to keep the mucovies out roaming more often too. But have...

Thank you for the info. I guess I will keep an eye out for Drake aggression in the meantime. :) Right now all four are pretty happy with each other. The only aggression type issues that I have seen so far is the Muscoveys are sometimes biting the wings of the Silkies when they get too close...

Looks like you guys had a great time at the cook out. I am sorry I missed it. I love seeing everyone's new chicks innovations, and projects. But it is sad to read about the losses. I have been lucky. I haven't had any dog attacks lately. And I successfully moved the tractors, ducks...

That is so cool that you were able to hatch them. I wouldn't have guessed they would come out naked...lol

Hey everyone!!! I haven't been on in a while... (at least a month, I think.) It looks like everyone is hatching :) and mostly doing well. A lot of changes going on with me and I have been super busy. My moving schedule was pushed up. So I have been working on painting and moving and trying to...

I have thought of doing that but I don't know how I would be able to, I can't install it on my neighbor's side of the fence which is where the problem is and I have my own animals on my side of the fence.... Maybe I am just not thinking of it right?

Actually it is 2 really large shipping crates stacked. then I cut the sides off and built in a door with hardware cloth screening and plastic sheeting for the roofing. I used smaller shipping crates for the nesting boxes and the lids for the fence line. here are a few more pics so you can see...
