    I had a problem with a Coppers hawk. It was like it watched me and if I left for a little while or stayed inside to long he would get a bird. The only thing that stopped him was completly covering the run... Good luck..

    Red vs white heat lamps for brooders

    Everyone is saying red 250watt.... Why??? does it make that much difference??? I set my brooder up with a regular 150 watt flood light on a dimmer and only have it turned half way on. Chicks seem very happy and comfortable... Am I missing something?
