Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I've got a similarly colored *girl* (fingers crossed). Still has a little chick-fuzz, but I'm concerned about the darker color on her wings... I sure hope I can keep saying its "dark brown" and not "red." She's about 8 weeks. No redness in her comb at all... here's hoping!

    Pointy Tail Feathers ...

Whew! I know we're not in the clear yet, but that's somewhat of a relief. Our lil girl's (I hope I hope) is 8 weeks, standard chipmunk coloring, but with a blue rear-end and two pointed tail feathers. Still no redness in her comb and her feet don't look too big, so fingers crossed!

Gorgeous! Love that coloring! At what age were those pictures taken? It's so interesting seeing how much they change in such a short period of time.

When's a good time to switch from a typical waterer to a pipe watering system? We've got the pipe system built and pretty much ready to go, we were just worried our little ones wouldn't be able to reach the nipples. Should we just wait until they all get to about the same size/reach?

Is the "comb test" pretty accurate as far as guessing the sex of EE's? What age did you're Big G's red comb start showing up?
