Hey Izzy! Sorry I have been AWOL, I was in Indiana and Illinois for a while, then one of my chickens died when I got back, so I have been kinda moping on Facebook and email and Skype and not BYC. Good to see you!

Sorry haven't been checking my profile messages. Been pretty busy. Our church rented a speedway this Saturday for an event called Operation Spiritual Thunder. It's going to be a rally for addicts. I'm playing violin for worship.

I couldn't put everything I wanted to say in one message! I talk too much lol!
My dog is an Akita/Husky mix, but he looks more like an Akita than a Husky. The blue eyes and the stubborn temperament show he's a Husky, though! I think he's 6 years old. I just started giving him better food. I hadn't really thought about it before, but I checked the bag of food I give him, and the first ingredient is corn! I can't imagine dogs are supposed to eat alot of corn. They don't in the wild! I mean, I never saw a dog sneakin into a cornfield, takin it off the stalk, shucking it, and cookin it well over a campfire ... so why do the manufacturers put it in their food?! I have better food now. I think he can have some corn and grains, but not too much.
That's great that your dog is doing better! What breed? Is he good with the chickens?

I have a chicken named Becky, too! She's about four weeks old. What color Leghorns do you have? Aww, your poor Silkie! That's sad she can't understand that the egg won't hatch and she won't have chicks. Poor girl . Maybe she can someday.
