Yup, the trees are definitely changing around here. They're almost bare, sadly. But, they sure are gorgeous and stunning for the short time they change colors. <3

Yay for cool weather!!! 43 is nice; not too cold (for fall) and not hot! Yesterday, here, there was a thin layer of ice on the duck's pool. They didn't get to go in their pool until later, when the ice melted, but it would have been funny to see their reactions! I'm a little worried that they will get ..... whatever ducks can get when they get all wet and it's cold! (I was going to say pneumonia or frostbite, but I don't think they get that haha!) Hopefully, we won't get down to -20 or-30 this year. I've never kept ducks in the winter before, so I need to figure out what to do with them when it gets that cold.

Nice! No, I'm not a big fan of Narnia. I do enjoy the books every once in a while, though. Oh my! I'm SO glad you found Muffin!! What a relief that must have been! I remember one time a hawk attacked one of my hens. Another hen fought off the hawk. Without that hen's help, my other hen would have been killed. But, boy it was scary!! It was such a relief to have all my hens safely in the coop that night!
It has gotten quite chilly around here, yes. I'm happy but also sad. My hens are molting so they're grouchy but otherwise doing fine.
