I wouldn't know, but it look's like whatever did do it wanted in there pretty bad. I bet that it will be back. You might want to fix it, and put up a camera to catch what's doing it.

That thin chicken wire has been known to be destroyed by raccoons. I'd suggest the rolled 1/2" grid. It's thicker. Also, you will probably only need to wrap the lower 24".

Most people recommend 19 gauge 1/2 inch hardware cloth 2 ft out from bottom with house set on pavers or sizable stone stacked around base to prevent digging predators. Good Luck!

Yes we did raccoons and we have two layers on inside and one outside
