    Sorry for the long delay in responding. While not yet finished, my coop has been up and running since late march/early April. Here is a pic. the siding is finished and i put a tin roof on it I just finished the new roof. Next is the insulation, finishing walls, permanent floor, new roost.

    Ok! Thanks! I've ha brown, fresh eggs before. But never my own. Te ones I've ha we're not free range so I think that may explain the color difference. Yes, my girls eat tomatoes. They sneak in the garden and eat tomatoes, and cantaloupe. But their favorite to eating the pumpkins!
