    She's about 11 weeks. I ordered several golden laced Wyandotte pullets from a hatchery. This one looks different than the others. The others have more lacing. Not sure this ones a mix up or not.

    Mixing birds question

    Red Ranger vs Freedom Ranger

    Is that there a difference in these birds (besides the name)? I'm wondering if it's basically the same bird different hatchery? Is their meat quality, size etc alike? TIA,

    Caponize ?

    I'm new to the meat bird idea and very confused. I was looking at Cornish cross and a website said they didn't need caponized. I was also looking at Red Rangers and wondering if they "need" caponized. I don't think I really want to get into that. What happens if you don't caponize? Thank you!

    I've only have used diatomaceous earth. Does that cause feathers like that?
