    I haven't seen movement for about 10 days. Two of them weren't active when we started lockdown but I put them in there anyway. Safe holes are done just in case! The other is resting with Pokey watching over. Cutest little things ever.:love

    I'm headed home here shortly to check on them. As of lunch Pokey was still chewing and yawning. The other was bumping against the pip. I'll do the safe hole in the third internal popper. Praying for the best but do I need to worry about contamination if he's already died?

    Update: I came home for lunch and the little guy is still active. Appears to be chewing and chattering his little beak. Is that a sign that he is still absorbing the yolk? Current photo is attached. 59 hours since first pip. I candled the other 3 which were all doing great about 10 days ago...

    Still no progress but he peeps and looks like he's chewing. Then he rests. 54 hoirs since first pip. No blood by the whole so I open it up just a bit. I'll attach a pic. Thanks SO much for your help. I'd be freaking out with you all!

    When i held him he chirped back at me and stuck his beak out, but now there's a little blood -- what do I do??? Is he going to die now? I'm in tears...

    What a wonderful site full of great, caring people to help those of us who are newbies! I've learned so much in the last couple of days. Now, I'm hoping someone can help me. We have 5 mallard duck eggs in the incubator. Today is day 29. One of them pipped at 3 am yesterday/Saturday morning...
