38 Hours since first pip - nothing since - starting to worry!

The one with the internal pip - I agree, a safe hole won’t hurt at this point. Usually when making it, you can feel movement inside the egg, or hear chirping if it’s still alive. Peck on the air cell with your fingernail.

The slow-poke wrong ender, has it hatched yet?
I'm headed home here shortly to check on them. As of lunch Pokey was still chewing and yawning. The other was bumping against the pip. I'll do the safe hole in the third internal popper. Praying for the best but do I need to worry about contamination if he's already died?

No, not likely. If you recently saw movement, I’m sure it’s fine. Rotten eggs are the worry with contaminates. Dead ones don’t usually make any difference.

I hope Pokey is out to greet you!

Pokey has arrived! :wee

I hope your Pokey is better than ours. The lady we gave her and a couple siblings to had to separate her because she was drawing blood from them. She would “goose” the others in the brooder but never drew blood.this is her mugshot complete with evidence from last week.

Oh no! How old is she now?

I haven't seen movement for about 10 days. Two of them weren't active when we started lockdown but I put them in there anyway. Safe holes are done just in case! The other is resting with Pokey watching over. Cutest little things ever.:love
