Chicken lost but was here at tea?

Funny thing was, we didn't find her - she found us! We were gardening and then out of nowhere, she flew/jumped over the fence and went to the others!

    HELP ME! I found a little egg outside! (It's not a chicken's)

It might be a Pheasant egg. They look similar to the ones we found. If it is a pheasant egg, the mummy pheasant will know someone has touched their egg, and will leave their nest.

Coronavirus, Covid 19 Discussion and How It Has Affected Your Daily Life Chat Thread

It hasn't affected me much, but has affected my sister. When they went to the supermarket to get some bread, there was one left. This one was the smallest loaf, and the most expensive. Wish you all good health and stay safe!

Chicken lost but was here at tea?

Hey there folks, I have a problem. I fed my chickens at "tea time" (about 5'o'clock) and they were all there (all 19). Now, however, when I locked them in at night, I counted 18 chickens. (around 7:30'o'clock). This is very odd since they were all there before hand. Some of them, 2-3 of them...

Follow these steps to insure your hen's safety!

rosemarythyme thank you so much for your comment! I understand the need for additional security, and have checked out 'your coop'! You are right, it is more likely a better defense having a well built coop instead of elevating your coop. You can use the elevation to ward of rats and snakes...
