    Chicken Eating Too Much

shes probably not drinking enough water (chickens are sometimes too stupid to remember how often they should drink water!), I would suggest not feeding her until you've seen her drink plenty of water.

    Chickens and Gardens

if you get a lot of predators you should fence the chickens, but its really just up to you, depending on what you want.

    Chickens and Gardens

putting up that netting is a good idea. if you dont, the moment you turn your back theyll devour your garden (speaking from experience)

Should I leave them in the coop or let them out?

id definitely keep locking them up at night, as long as you dont notice them picking each other(a sign that they're getting cramped). as long as they got food and water, they should be fine and you definitely dont want them getting eaten by predators

Adding adult hens to an existing flock does it affect laying?

a new place can confuse a chicken, they should be laying in the next few days, but you might have to wait another week, i wouldnt worry about it, sometimes it takes a while to adjust.

Please help, I'm losing my mind here!

sounds like your doing everything right, so don't blame yourself. lice are a major pain to get rid of you got to keep dusting(with DE, or whatever works best for you)them for a week, keep theyre coop impossibly clean and check your birds for any lice a few times a day. as for your EE, it sounds...

    Dead bird

at 2.00 I went to let out my chickens(the dogs get to be out until then) and I found one of my barred rock hens dead by the feeder, she hasn't been acting weird or anything, and all the other chickens are perfectly fine. when i turned her over, a watery yellowish liquid spilled out, it looks...
