My sweet White Leghorn is still doing a perfect job. She has now laid four days in a row. The process is so funny, she screams off and on and goes in and out of the coop for about an hour prior to laying but each day they are slightly bigger than the last. I wish I had some way to weigh them...
Another small egg today however broken, it looks like she laid while on the roost and it also seemed to have a soft shell. Hopefully she'll get the hang of this soon giving me nice large white eggs in the nest box :-)

Should I be worried about the amount of flies that are in the girl's run and coop? I did hang an air freshner, althought it wasn't a vanilla one like what I've read. I do clean the coop out really well about every two days but the run isn't as easy to clean ...any advise? what should I be doing?
