Awesome! Mine is still a bit noisy but I have had it in my office since yesterday and I am quite used to it now. It is comforting to hear the thing running and adjusting, knowing I am not the one running over there messing with it every few minutes! Let me know what you...
After all these great responses, I think I've decided on just one candling. Maybe 2. Just to be sure. The thought of an exploding rotten egg ruining all the other babies' chances of survivng are enough to convince me! Thanks for all the feedback
After my first attempt, I don't think I want to go through the whole candling experience again. Last time, I fretted a lot! I was really scared they'd be out of the 'bator too long. From what I hear, candling is reccomended to see growth, but is is really necessary? I want to really plan out...

I'm getting a whole new incubator. (I was previously using the Little Giant Still Air). I...

4 RIR eggs-and they were due Valentines Day. That ship sailed, and its 7:20 on day 22 and no movement, and no pips. I've read some eggs hatch at from 21-26 days. At any rate, I'm worried, and afraid I might be facing crushing disspointment. I turned them all by hand and I have gotten rather...

I have been mentally torn to shreds you should have seen my baby die.
It was like it had a seizure in the shell It just started to scream and shake violently.
I'm so sorry. It's the 21 day, and I have no pips, and they aren't moving. I...
