Awesome! Mine is still a bit noisy but I have had it in my office since yesterday and I am quite used to it now. It is comforting to hear the thing running and adjusting, knowing I am not the one running over there messing with it every few minutes! Let me know what you think when you get it. Did you get the humidity pump?

I'll keep you posted when I get it

I didn't order the humidity pump because I thought the incubator was already on the pricey end! I was really tempted to though. What do you think about the pump?

So far I love it. I couldn't maintain humidity in my Little Giant or Hovabator so auto humidity was a must for me. In the bay area you probably don't have as much of an issue with it as we do here in the valley. I was adding water constantly!

Warden I have same brinsea and same due date! I just got mine as well, I do not have the humidity pump but may invest at a later date.I will be watching to see how your hatch does compared to mine. Dec 3 seems soooooo far away! Sending good vibes your way!!!

Warden,we splurged in July and bought a Brinsea 190 Ex Advanced with the auto humidity control,,,set it and forget it,just add water once in awhile,,the ONLY thing we do not like about it,is the noise the brushless motor used in the squeeze pump makes when it operates,,,but if the bator wasn't in our living room, that would not be a problem,,in my opinion Brinsea is the Cadillac of incubators,,,pricey, but worth it

I candled tonight and of 30 eggs here's the breakdown:

Light Brahmas (shipped eggs) 6/10 with veins

Salmon Faverolles (shipped eggs) 2/5 with veins

Mille Fleur D'Uccles (shipped eggs) 6/6 with veins

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (shipped eggs) 2/6 with veins

BB Red Old English (from my pair) 3/3 with veins. Go Rocky, you little stud!

Some of the eggs look clear but others are porous or thick shelled so I just can't see yet. I will wait for day 7 and try again.

Both the Hovabator and Brinsea are humming along maintaining temp and humidity.

The Brinsea you got, Mary, really appeals to me but for a first bator I'll probably go with the Hova-Bator Genesis. I'll be very interested however to hear how everyone likes their Brinsea.

Georgia in Alabama

ETA: Can anyone tell me the diff between Hova-Bator Turner 1610 and the 1610M models? Besides the $2.00 price difference...........
