They are in the chicken coop in a crate. They are facing the draft so we put in two lights, but when they died we had a board blocking the crate so the wind wouldnt get them. The coop is 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit
Actually, yes. I forgot to mention. When they breathed, their whole cheeks and necks rose. It was really pronounced. Their eyes were closed and ok, I think.

Lavender orpingtons are pretty much the exact same as buffs so should have the same qualities. Mine is still a chick, about the age of yours, but is so sweet and just falls asleep in your hands!

Medicated feed is not necessary, but to give them energy boosts we put probiotics and rooster booster in their water. This, again, isn't necessary but we like to give it to them so they don't get weak.
