(PRICE REDUCED) Cabinet Style Incubator / Pair of Turkeys for sale

Sorry Tioga County PA is 501 miles from me so that would be a 1000 mile round trip for me. That would be 4+ tanks of gas in my jeep. $35 would not come close to covering that.

Jan 28th Hatch date. Anyone else?

I built a cabinet incubator out of birch plywood. Used GQF Heating element and Wafer thermostat and 110 v fan. Has automatic humidity controlled by a float to keep the water in it and full but not allowing it to overfill. At day 18 I put in a humidity pad and it brings the humidity up to...

Opinions Plz: Durango woman’s dog shot, killed after chicken attack

Not sure on the law in CO. but here in Ohio we have what is called a leash law. If your dog is off your property then it must be on a leash. I am sorry the woman lost her dog but the dog should have been under her or the friends control at all times. If by chance that she does get enough...

    Chicken Protection Question

I have never seen any deer in this area they tend to stay back in the back of my property near the food plot and the woods. My property is broken up into 3 sections sort of. 2 acres are front and back yard. Then a 2 acre pasture and this is where I am planning on doing the fence at the front...

    Chicken Protection Question

I have had problems with Coyotes and coons and I am to the point I am going to run a serious electric fence around about 1.5 acres for my chickens to run in without worrying about coyote or coons getting in. I would like your opinions on my plan. Here is my plan. I am going to fence in 1.5...

Lost my first bird to a coyote.

We have a huge amount of predators around here. Coons and coyote are all over the place so that is why I actively trap during trapping season or when problems occur outside of trapping season. Last year on opening day I set out 30 traps and when I went out to check the traps the next day I...

    Sparrows!!!!!!

I used one of these sparrow traps and it works great. It is a repeating sparrow trap so you can catch multiple birds without resetting the trap. I have caught up to 20 sparrows at a time in it. http://www.sparrowtraps.net/

Lost my first bird to a coyote.

I lost my first bird to a coyote but unfortunately for the coyote I saw it while it was eating the guinea. 175 yards is no challenge for me and my .223 Remington SPS. I moved to my new farm in July and have lost nothing until now. My coops are rock solid and have never had a problem with...

Trapping Coons- Best bait to use

Always had very good luck with Sardines. I use them on my trap line too not just for problems around my coops. I also use a combination of fish oil and shellfish oil.

First predator attack - a Coopers hawk!

Glad all are OK. Too bad you don't have leather gloves a box or a vehicle. I didn't have anything like that either when one went into my enclosure.

Sharon Thanks for the response but if I can get eggs that don't have to be shipped I am going to go that route. If the person who posted below you does not have any or can't get any I will take a look at your auction. Van I would definitely be interested in some of those eggs. I emailed you...
