    Calcium

Thanks. Never thought of doing that. I simply just scatter them around their run.

Advice for integrating chicks with established flock, coop is smallish and temps in AZ are over 115

When my little ones were big enough, basically outgrowing their diggs, I just placed them in the pen with the other 5. It seemed to work out just fine. I kept an eye on them of course.

    Chicken stays in the coop

I have a hen that sits in the coop all day, then when the other girls lay eggs she immediately sits on them. Even though we remove the eggs as quickly as possible she waits in there until another one comes along. We have dealt with broodiness in the past, but this takes the cake. Ideas?

    Girls are loud today

I took some video near the pen, they think they are getting a treat, or maybe they love being on camera. Who knows? lol

    Tiny little egg

I have seen fellow chicken keepers have this, but this is my first experience with it. A tiny egg. Take a look at the photo. Note: the chicken did not lay the quarter :)

Need help raising two chickens. Lots to ask!

I dont know what country you are in, but I would recommend that you pick up a feed specifically for chickens. Here in NJ I go to Tractor Supply and pick up an organic variety, that I also mix with cracked corn. My girls are happy and healthy and I get 4 to 6 eggs per day from 6 birds.

Is 2 eggs a day normal and is it possibly an inherited trait?

Wow that is pretty unique. My girls have never laid 2 in one day ... per chicken that is.

    Tiny egg

We have had tiny eggs but only when they were laying for the first time. I have not experienced what CL200 described. Sounds like a neat phenomenon
