    Quail for pets/eggs/meat?

    Texas A&Ms i have found are prolific layers and we butchered some about 2 months ago and the meat was excellent. And on the plus side there's no difference in taste between the roos and the hens.

    It looks like it's coming from the cord and it's drinking lots of water but not eating a lot. It also seems like all the others have grown and gained weight and this one hasn't. We have it separated at the moment but it's just so lonely. Poor thing

    We had 6 buff orpington/ blue andalusian mixes hatch 4 days ago. The last one that hatched has had issues from the start. It had a clubbed foot and was very listless.     I'm in we just set 20 A&M eggs and a few of our buffy eggs in the bator last night. We only got one A&M out of 20 the last time so we are trying again. Never give up, NEVER surrender.

    So out of 14 A&M eggs only the one hatched. This poor little thing is so alone and constantly peeps. Anyone have A&M hatching eggs they could sell? We still have 6 Jersey giant eggs and 10 bantam eggs in the bator going into lock down today hopefully this time turns out better.

    I'm in we set 20 A&M quail, Bantams and Jersey giant eggs in the bator on the 1st. So the A&M's will be hatching on the 17th or 18th And the chickens should be popping out the 21st or 22nd. And we just had 30 out of 40 coturnix quail eggs hatch on the 9th. So we are going to be very busy mama's...

    I gotta jump in a little late. But i love our hovabator 1588. 3 days ago we had a 75% hatch rate on 40 coturnix eggs. They got shipped from TN to southern NV too. And everyone is happy, healthy and thriving. We had so much fun. I would defiantly recommend it to a beginners like me and my mother.

    Wow our first major hatch that actually worked. 75% Hatch rate on eggs shipped from TN to southern NV. So 30 out of 40 eggs made it and are as healthy as can be. We are so happy with this colorful bunch of poop machines. Got pics??? This is my little favorite and i really hope it's a little...

    Sorry it took so long but FINALLY!!!!!! Here they are. Our new brood and quite the color collection. We are vary happy new parents. These are out 2 favorites in color and personality.
