The Genses 1588 comes calibrated to 99.5ºF You should not worry about temperature, i like to keep the humidity 35 - 45 %
I recomend you to go to walmart and get a Digital Termometer hydrometer combo
This is the best
Avoid to buy the Accurite they are junk , good for nothing
After you get the thermometer/hydrometer , you need to caliblate the hydrometer usig the salt method
you will need
1 Coffee mug
1 Ziplock plastic bag
1/2 cup of salt
1/4 cup of water
First put the salt in the cup
second pour the water inside teh cup
thirt put cup in ziplock bag
last place hydrometer inside the bag
let it sit for 24 hours in a draft free place
if the hydrometer is pefectly calibrated it should read 75% humidity, Most hydrometers are not 100% acurate
but once you know what reading you have , you can add or substract the diference
for example
if your hydrometer read 70% you know that is 5% off, so when you place it in the incubator , whatever it reads you have to add 5%, if it read 40% is acctually 45%
Hope this is not confusing you
