    Wow that's really interesting! They may have come from my white hen (who's masking a partridge gene) but dad is def black, not extended though. Totally wasn't expecting whites! Really pleased as we lost our white hen but a bit bummed... If they were blue we were looking into mating for splash...

    Hi all, I have a chick who's pipped from the wrong end. It's not broken the outer membrane but it's trying to. I've attached a picture. What do I do? Can it breathe? If I go too early I could nick a vein, leave it much longer it could die of exhaustion. Please help!!!
