Mine too. I was wearing Sorels, so I need to wear the taller ones.
We got 5" last night, on top of 1" the day before, on top of 4" we already had, so that's enough!
Those look like silkies to me! Count the toes. If they have five, those are satin silkies.
Silkies usually can't be sexed until they are around 3-4 months old, sometimes longer.
Oh my goodness! That is such great news! :celebrate
I was so afraid to say it in my initial post that if they were day-olds, going that long beyond 72 hours, I feared you may find some didn't make it. Whew!!
To the question of feed, agree with the above.
To the question of integration, not enough info here. If they all just sleep in a coop together but free range, then any age, but in my experience, the little ones will sleep in the corner by the door and be the first ones out in the morning...
Out of high school I took two years of Photofinishing Technology. Photography was one of the classes in there. You'd think I'd have remembered that, but no.
I didn't even know there was a night mode on these phone cameras. Somewhere around here I have a Nikon 35mm I gave up using...
That's like what it does for the Northern Lights. It is pitch black, around midnight when I ran down to the end of our driveway to take this a couple of weeks ago. How it makes it look like it's daylight is beyond me!

It does sound like she may have had an impacted crop and maybe was constipated or had other issues causing the prolapse.
If you still have her and want to find out if she had anything else wrong with her, you could get a necropsy done. Here's a list of...
My older ones will lay all winter, just half or less as many. We keep the coops around 40F, but not sure that's the entire reason. Some have said if they're not spending all their energy to keep themselves warm, they'll lay, but that doesn't explain the ones in the warmer climates.
I just...
5" of snow fell, and winds to 35 mph, making it hard to see. So making the rounds this morning.
8 in the shed pen. All good. Not coming out.
16 in the breeding pens. All good. Not coming out.
Petra joined Pen #4 this morning.
The rest of Pen #4 - 4 partridges of various colors. The...
Hi,
Her feet and legs look swollen to me. Are they to you?
Otherwise, being puffed up and tail down could mean a few things, but egg-bound or coccidiosis are the most common.
Any chance you've seen her poop?
I think I'd be on the safe side and give her a whole Calcium Citrus+D3 for a few...
It could be an infected feather follicle although I'd think you'd see the suspect one. It could also be sinus.
I'd poke that with a sterile sewing needle and try get it to drain down using a warm wet compress on it. Then see if it stays that way or builds back up again. She may need an...
