Well if this isn't the best picture I've ever taken of the coop ❄️🩵❄️

When lit it gives such warm glowy vibes but it's currently -6° Fahrenheit out in the coop 😭😭 I know they are perfectly fine out in their huddlebox I have set up for them, but since this the first really frigid subzero night, I'm having such a hard time sleeping lol it's midnight here and I went out to check on them at 10:45 and all it did was wake them up 😂

What a cozy coop! That looks like a lot of lights in there 😂
Its only one single smart lightbulb and believe it or not its only at 5% but when you use night mode on the Samsung camera it over exposes the light so it looks alot brighter than it is haha

That's like what it does for the Northern Lights. It is pitch black, around midnight when I ran down to the end of our driveway to take this a couple of weeks ago. How it makes it look like it's daylight is beyond me!

Yes! Night mode is great! Think of night mode on a camera as the iris and your pupil so when it's dark out your pupil gets bigger to let in more light so you can see better in the dark so when cameras activate their night mode it essentially opens more of the lens so the photo is over exposed to let more light into the lens and that's how you get these bright night time photos with that mode

✨
Looks very warm in there! I'm sure your chickens are very happy!😁
It was -9 last night 🥶 but it stayed 8 degrees in the coop so 18 degrees over ambient but luckily today its been in the high 30s all day. They dont hunker down into their huddle box unless it drops below 10 degrees inside the coop I've found!
