    About my coop and questions

Early in the morning I always throw some feed around in each of my coops for my chickens. Each coop has 24/7 water access for my chickens. Around 2 or 3 every day I usually give my chickens treats too. You don't have to do this I just like to spoil my chickens Whether it be grapes, raisins...

    Broodiness?

My hen laid her first egg this morning. I was wondering if I had to take the egg out and incubate it myself, or will she sit on it herself? Ya'll mentioned something earlier about broodiness? What happens if she never decides to sit on it, and it's too late to take out? Can I still incubate it...

    Hello everyone!!

I agree with you. The first time I tried to raise chicks, I had six of them. I had them in a pen in the field behind my house. It worked for a while, then one morning I got up to find that 4/6 chicks had been brutally murdered, leaving behind feather after feather. It was terrible, I literally...

    Rabbits!

I have a rabbit myself, but it's just a pet, we're not going to use it for meat. I would be happy to answer your questions though! My rabbit's cage is about 3x3, but it has 2 levels, 3x3 on top as well. I only have one rabbit, so this amount of space is fine for him. The amount of space...

    3 little mystery bantams

Lol, I'm probably thinking all wrong too, but I think there is a Cochin breed, then there is a Bantam breed, they're similar (I'm thinking) but not exactly the same thing (I'm most likely wrong haha)

    Chicken names?

Thanks to everyone who replied! My hen is a bantam. Actually, today she sat on the egg. We'll see what happens though, and if she doesn't, I actually have an incubator!
