The assumption that your question may not be answered is probably a good one.
Rather than their spurs being the problem, perhaps they are simply "bored" for lack of other hens?? IDK what your roo to hen ratio is, but I've found that although they say 10/1 is the proper ratio for good...
...quickly, the bleeding is less of an issue, you're not as likely to twist the spur sidewise at the base and injure him etc and he heals quickly.
** Excessive bleeding should be managed with flour or a store bought bleeding management powder
** The quick extends approximately 1/3 - 2/3 down...

Lost another layer last night... I didn't think she was missing, but there are too many feathers for it to just be a "feather snatch"... Boo on hawks!!
Buying the shipping container through Horizon Micro-Environments would put the shipping container required for someone to buy all 4 of the roosters at just over $150.
Shipping itself to get them to you has to (legally) be sent Priority Mail Express. Shipping will be approximately $101.30 give...
I would take them all, except I live way too far away... and my husband has cut me off for the year from getting any more birds unless they are free... :-P Sorry!! But I know my ministers wife would take them if she could!
I had wondered why they were so "valuable" to you... considering shipping would be over $160. Thank you for your inquiries though. I'm sorry it won't work out.

I don't have a lot of time to re-upload the photos, but I remembered seeing this thread so I thought I'd throw this out there for what it's worth. :-)
Good luck!!
I was also wondering about that... how the banty's get along with the standard and heavier breed roo's? I ordered 15 chicks from mypetchicken in April... now it looks like I've got at least 4 roos in breeds that weren't supposed to be roo's... :-P The only one I'm "displeased" about is the...
My husband has had his eye set on a golden sebright rooster for a long time & has been given one, but we currently have ISA Brown adults, (all others are 4-weeks old) and I'm concerned that they will pick on him. Also wondering if he could actually "do the deed" since he will be so much smaller...
I have a friend at church who has repeatedly lost hens due to this. They got too curious, would stick their heads out, and the coyotes, foxes, coons & opossums bite their heads off. Lori goes out the next morning to find stiff, headless birds.
Telling you that so you will be aware in the...
