My Cream Legbar Roo suddenly died and now his hens are lonely. I would like to hatch some legbar eggs. Does anyone know where to get one? I'm willing to drive anywhere from Huntsville, AL to Nashville, TN or surrounding area.
Thank you so much!
Mine did that too. I externally pipped them on day 21 since there was still no movement, then 6 hours later when no progress we carefully helped ours out. Our darkest eggs were shrink wrapped so at least some of them made it since we helped them.
Yay I'm glad your chicks hatched for both of you!! Sorry it took me so long to respond. Thank you for the link, I but the little shoes on her and now she's all better! The rest of my Welsummers were actually shrink wrapped, which is weird because all of my EE's hatched perfectly. So my hubby...
Yup. I didn't think it was possible. My hubby and I thought we heard it yesterday, but today the little guy just crows and crows. I didn't think they would start to crow until they were at least several weeks old, thats how every other batch of chicks were ? I should get a video of it
I was wondering what some of my EE's are that I just hatched. Thank you so much!!!
1) This little guy is much bigger than all the rest of my chicks. I love his multicolored feet.
2) This ones half black/grey on the top and yellow on the bottom
3) This little one is the smallest...
Thank you both!
I hope the rest of your eggs hatch Ravie! Only two out of my 20 Welsummers have hatched so far so I guess they are just behind. Let us know if you get any more pips!
I have a total of 6 chicks now; five EE's and 1 Welsummer. I have 4 other Welsummers that have pipped! Its so exciting!
EE #1 helping another egg hatch
What do you think this one is mixed with? I love her colored feet!
