I live way out in the country. The nearest neighbor is three miles. All the cats around here are Ferrel. People from the city who no longer want their cats, come out here and toss them out. They then become Ferrel. There are as many cats as there are rabbits and predators. I will dispatch them also.
I moved the last two birds to another location for the night. Set up my trail cam and got six pics of coons, could be the same one, not sure, but the pics were from 12:30 am to 4:30 am. 4am a black cat. At midnight another cat, yellow. 11:30 a black cat. 10:20 a black cat., I just have the...
Another bird this morning, nothing on the game cam. It was on all night. only one pic of dog when he went in there with me this morning. This time it stuck around long enough to eat almost the whole bird, not much left. The other two remaining birds refuse to go in the coop and I don't blame...
I have never seen a weasel where I live. Coons are abundant and so are cats.
And so is my 223 ammo supply. I am putting on my night vision scope and sitting in wait starting tonight. I have plenty on leg hold traps. I hate killing other animals like this but it has to be done.
12 x 12 area in my barn, I store feed in a plastic garbage can with a lid. I get my feed from the local feed store, crumbles. They have a bowl of Oyster shells in the pen. The head, inards and some of the bird are eaten. I have seen a cat in my yard around 10:30 pm. I have roosts up high and the...
Will they kill and eat each other? There is no way for anything to get into my coup. I have lost 15 chickens in 5 months. Two ast night. One gal is limping. I shot three ferrel cays the last two days. It is becoming a nightmare. I have walked in several mornings early, just at light and found...
I had a huge rat problem last summer in my barn ...I bought a high powered pellet rifle. The first day out I shot 35, two days later shot around 25. I have not seen a rat in the wood pile since then.
All female, they grew up together. I bought all of them when they were a week old. Maybe I need more places for them to roost. The whole lot seems to like it high. I have found them on the second floor of the barn. I have caught the neighbors dogs from a mile don the road on my property. I shot...
I have two chickens that decided that they no longer want to roost at night in the coop. They roost in a weeping Birch tree right by the front porch. The tree is about 7 feet tall. As soon as it gets light out, they head back with the rest of the flock. No idea why they decided they like this tree.
