Hi all, I just got a shipment of chicks from MyPetChicken and have too many. If anyone is looking for some, please PM me.
Available are: 10 Barred Rocks, 1 Australorp and 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte
Sexed females, hatched on the 18th. All are happily eating, drinking, and running around.
Hope...
Hi All! Long time and have missed you all...been super busy but finally got a chance to pop back on. Was worried my account would be gone, but it's still here.
Welcome to DeltaBluezTess and any other new peeps, and welcome back to TiffsBroodyBabes!
CR, we will miss having you around but that is so great that Iron Imagery is getting noticed and invited to shows! Will you have a new batch of easy care chicks at the Monroe show?
Hope everyone is doing...
Okay, I have a favor to ask...I would like to surprise my BIL and his wife with pictures of their new baby girl for her first Easter. Does anyone have a couple fuzzy chicks that I could borrow for a few hours to pose with her? I would make sure they were safe and cared for. I just don't have any...
Thanks for asking Ruth! He is fine, just has a sore wrist and hand where it hit the dashboard. Thankfully no one was hurt, and only the car got munched. We consider ourselves fortunate.
I hope they have banana cream pie!
Glad you all had a chance to meet up. Even if I weren't working seven days a week right now, we're down to one car. DH was in an accident Thursday night and totaled his. Sigh.
Just got my February coupon book from Coastal. They have a buy one get one free deal on bandanas. Say, we could all get pink ones and show up as rustlers at some meetup somewhere!
Also a coupon for $21 for a 40 or 50 pound bag of BOSS. Is that a good price, I take it? Haven't bought them...
Have fun those of you doing the Spiffy's and IKEA meetups, it's always great to meet BYC peeps in person! I will be working both days...won't have a day off until after next month.
Those of you with hatching chicks, please share photos! And thanks to those who've shared pics of their flock...
I finally found eggs in the nest boxes again today! My Australorp and EE (my two best layers) both laid somewhat long, pointy eggs after recovering from molt and winter days. Thank goodness, no more nasty store bought eggs!
