Not to poke the bear, but most people waste more than that watching tv,phone or what ever else they do that's not productive.

Here is the link my brother in law found, they says it's from the birds overuse of their wings. I got my birds from estes hatchery.
All my roosters were 8+ lbs. Had one that was 9lbs 12oz.plucked and gutted. If you get the nadya's poultry shrink bags get the next size up. I had a hard time with a 7lbs 10oz bird going in to the 5-8 lbs bag.
I understand jr. My neighbor dog won't come to me when I have the chickens out. He won't even look at me. It's funny. He will come right up to me when I step into the street though.
I've had squirrel setting in the back of the truck for 5 hrs after being shot 2hr before the truck. Cleaned and ate them. As long as you don't hit the guts during cleaning you be fine.
