Broodies are the best. I believe every backyard flock should have at least 1 broody hen. My youngest son and my grandson's eyes light up when hey see our broody hens even walk by a clutch of eggs.

My hot water heater thermostat went out this morning, so i chunked my little personal heater, that we keep in our bathroom, into my incubator. It has a thermostat, fan and ceramic heat source. I think they run about $15 bucks @ walmart. It did the trick until i replaced my original thermostat...

Very good, I set my eggs from eBay in the bator about an hour ago. I ended up with 107. Bought 100, they shipped 110 and only 3 broken. Keep our fingers crossed....
