don't worry, this happens every day! somehow Kiki still manages to wrangle it back on track. Although, this time there are no more days to look forward too...
@KikisGirls ... What happens now?
no more daily pages upon pages of jokes I can hardly keep up with?
no, does she still do tv?
I was just bringing her up because you got the reference. and I only heard about that music video because it was provocative and newsworthy. Whereas the Hunger Games is a pretty big deal to some. I'm not going to google it's movie rankings or anything, but I'd guess...
:eek:How do you know Miley Cyrus and not the Hunger games series?!
Pretty sure those books and movies have been popular longer than since she went off the deep end (not including when she was 15... I just heard about that watching some terrible TV show in a waiting room)
Humidity levels are not something you should be worried about. Just make sure you get the quail eggs from a semi-respectable source, and track your air sac. These two eggs were worst case scenarios. I was shocked they even launched...
Agreed!
Honestly, i haven't read the UC doc you linked in my last incubation thread yet (waiting for semester end) but, one thing i can say about chicken incubation is even the pros lose some...and dont tell anyone, but my first hatch was 9 for 9 with a cracked incubator and no hygrometer.
I...
Just catching up.. I take a three hour break to work on my project and all of a sudden I'm pages behind.
Kiki, going back to your post some time ago, you asked about the yolk absorbing... Yes, the chick will always absorb the yolk given enough time. When you say "why didn't mine absorb it all?"...
Salt test or not, the air sac did seem to grow well (from what i could see on screen). I have a hard time believing the humidity was off- *pre humidity increase
Middle picture here looks like yolk?
The chick is supposed to finish absorbing before it is ready to leave (search byc for unabsorbed yolk to see the FAQ, it haooens to everyone)
My best (read poor, at best) guess is that for some reason it pipped internally before it was done absorbing...
