Wonder what these are and what I can do. I found them in the nesting box when gathering eggs. It seems to have come on so quickly as I have two broody hens and have been moving around eggs a lot lately. Really freaking out overw here! So many, mostly all in one nesting box.
Found these on an egg today. They are really gross and seem too uniform to be calcium deposits.

Today I noticed these bald spots on her. My son said they have always been there. wondering if its a reason for concern. I dont see any feathers in the brooder and no others look like this. Thanks!
I am about to get some new chicks. We have our brooder set up in our coop this time. The temps this week will be in the 80s-90. Should I still have my heat source on during the day when it is that hot? Thank you
