Get ready to rinse some wheat and start some folder for the clan. I love to try new things. It will get them greens in the winter and cut my feed bill. It's a win win!
Well we made it through the cold with minimal frostbite. Getting ready to start up the bator and wait for spring! So glad to see so many on here close to me.
Yes, now I am caught! I was the one that brought the kitchen sink to auction off. But not to look so silly, Fudgie was the one that bought it, LOL!
Really they have everything there, but like all auctions you may or may not want it.
Chickenshagg - so nice to meet you and I hope the babies...

OH WOW! That is horrible. Prayers going up right now! to her!
Thanks Fudgie!! They had a talk/meeting and now she doesn't know what to do. She thought she could have her way and still have a "perfect" life, and that no one would stop her. We love her and don't want to see her go...
would love to have anyone from BYC come to the sale. we are non-discriminating auction attendees, LOL. Anyone who loves chickens or loves to buy chickens are my friends, LOL
Sheila
Well I think we are going to come to the sale this weekend. YoderCountryGirl , we would love to have you come down. Fudgie and I have such a great time laughing and commenting on chickens and people. LOL!
Sheila
No we don't have any barred rock roosters. I am trying to sell our Jersey giants and we have 3-4 New hampshire roos and 2 Light Brahma roosters to sell.
We might think about trick or treating up there. Kinda have a few family stops to make here, though.
Sheila
Fudgie-
Congrats on your wins and places at the sedalia show. sounds like you are doing great at the showing. I really need you to come and walk me through the showing process. I have some beautiful cochins coming on and would like to show them in the spring. do you keep all of your show...
you are kidding me! If the kids could have stood outside in the wind, we were going to bid on those, but i thought they would go for high money. You got the deal of the century. You are so lucky! Would have loved to have them.
How is the new baby settling in? I bet she is loving it.
Sheila
Beautiful baby, Fudgie! She looks very happy. We got our little guys home and settled in and worked outside on building some more tractors yesterday for the OEG's.
We moved alot of things around and noticed that we have several extra roos. Anyone need a Light Brahma roo or New Hampshire...
Well yes we are going shopping, but I think the children and the husband are attending. Darn It. Her soccer game got cancelled and he thinks we all need to go now. I hope things go better than last time with the little ones. I had a babysitter set up but she backed out last minute...
Yeah I think that is why he is panicked about me going by myself. He said we are getting rid of birds for the winter, you aren't bringing home any new ones are you? I laughed and said only if I find some I am wanting.
I am really excited about coming up, but catching all those birds today...
I did not get to go to Jacob's Cave. I was so disappointed, but my daughter had this silly flu with a 104 temp all weekend. Glad I get to be home with her but, gosh, I hated to miss it.
Well, Fudgie, all depending on whether my husband comes depends on the time I make it. If I come alone, I...
Fudgie - Happy late birthday, LOL! I had no idea. Are you going to Keytesville on Saturday? What time do you need to be checked in by, is it noon?
Oh BTW, congrats on the beautiful b-day present!
Sheila
Sorry to hear you can't make it ChickNPink. It is a great time.
I thought I would post on here first. I am looking for show quality (mainly non-hatchery stock) Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. Anyone from mighty Mo have any chicks or hatching eggs? Also looking for all colors of Large Fowl...
