Hah! Try riding 25 miles down a disty trail in it, with horse sweat flicking back into your face!
Just got back from Day 1 and Day 2 of the GLDRA Shore to Shore Endurance Race (we're NOT the Michigan Trail Riders) and my horse and I won both days in our weight division! This was my...
I will pester her again this week for the recipe. There are a couple of other ones she was going to get for me too. She said she'd be happy to get them, but she has been busy and might have forgotten.

I wonder if you use one of the pet stain removers like Simple Solution or Out Pet Stain Remover if it would help. They have the enzymes in them that "eat" the odor out of pet accidents, and I have used it before when pets or kids have barfed and it seemed to help. You can usually find...

I did my duty as a chicken owner and voted yes on the poll. The gentleman in the article had it right-----chickens are great pets for kids!! My kids have loved having chickens, and they really have learned alot taking care of them.
If you make an all beef frank, be sure to let us know how they turned out. My hubby is not a big fan of pork in any form, so making an all beef product sounds lovely.
My stand by and the love of my husband's life is the short cake made from the recipe on the Bisquick/Jiffy mix box. I mix it up and put it in a either a round or square cake pan (8 or 9 inch) and bake it that way instread of messing with make individual biscuits. It always turns out yummy and...
I wonder if you could try one of the oven omelet type recipes? I have one that uses a dozen eggs. I make it in a 9x13 pan, but it you wanted to get literal, maybe it could be divided into pie pans and the biscuits or pie crust put on top. Just a thought.

We watch out for garage sales. Last year we got 3 nice double hung vinyl windows (with screens) for $5 each. They were slightly used, but the chickens didn't care. A coat of paint and they look new! Try someplace like Restore-the Habitat for Humanity store. They have all kinds of used...
I always thought white cake was pretty much the same as yellow cake, except that you don't use egg yolks---------which give the cake it's coloring, which you don't want in white cake.

We used these folks last year to process the birds my daughter raised and auctioned off at the fair. They did a nice and quick job and I would recommend them if anyone was looking for a poultry processor. They are located a few miles north of Caro.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did divide up the dough by cutting in 1/2, then those pieces into the correct number of pieces so the pieces were approximately the same size. Maybe I just need to pay more attention to having them look all nice and round when I put them in the pan.
thanks for the reply Katy. I guess I will just have to keep on trying until I get those rolls pretty (and probably end up gaining 100 pounds from having to eat all the ugly ones.)
Katy---I have a question---how do you get the rolls to look so nice and uniform? I have made these rolls twice and they are sooooo good!! However, the all look mismatched in the pan when they are done. I use a knife to divide the dough into even amounts and rolled the dough into balls, then...
