I know that PAchickenlover would NEVER intentionally EVER do anything to harm her birds. I have actually been to Roots market on many occasions with her and her children and she ALWAYS had food and water and we would be running around giving random birds that were parched water. She also revived...
I'm not here to cause conflict at all. I know PACHICKENLOVER and with that being said I know that she takes good care of her pets. Sometimes things happen that are not in our control. Maybe, just maybe the gosling had a internal birth defect and it was the stress from the move and the new...
Oh my word! I'm sorry for posting the same thing a bunch of times!! My computer wasn't posting, or so I didn't think it was!! It was loading and loading and I guess they all went through and I didn't realize! It wasn't working! I'm so sorry!!
If it comes back, what does that mean? Someone mentioned gape worm with the hen choking. I looked down in there and I didn't see a thing. This crust though, can anyone help me??

I looked when I was out earlier and I saw nothing. The only thing I could feel was her crop and she had some food in there, but it wasn't out of the ordinary. I've dealt with impacted and sour crop, so I don't think it's that. It's really the crust that is concerning me. I think she is eating...
I see nothing in their throats and their eyes are totally clear. The only symptom that they have is the dry, brown crust on their beaks. Nothing more. The crust reminds me of their food. It looks as though it got wet and pasted to their nostrils. Their is no crust anywhere else on them.
I have a silkie hen and 7 chicks who have a crusty brown discharge around their nostrils. I have two other silkies, one roo and one hen in the same coop, but they are separate from the mom and babies and I see no crust on their nostrils. There is no wet discharge at all that I can see. When I...
No nasal discharge at all. He doesn't seem to have an infection at all that I can see. I have been watching him today, and he doesn't seem to be doing it, but was for a while yesterday....what is gapeworm btw??
I have a silkie whos head just started to bob in a strange way. He seems to be fine otherwise but it's really bothering me. I just got him a few days ago and he appeared to be fine up until this morning. He was eating some grass and it looked like his was taking extra time to swallow the grass...
I just got two silkies. I am guessing they are between 8-10 weeks old. One I believe is a roo and the other a hen. Anyway, I have had them for 3 days now and the roo started doing this strange bobbing head thing today. He didn't do it at all before and I noticed it this morning. He looks as...
I just got two silkies who had some lice on them. I gave them a good dusting with Sevin powder. My question is, do I have to get the excess powder off of them or is it okay to leave excess on them. I am worried if it gets into their food or water. Thanks in advance. At first I thought it may be...
