Here are some pictures of my 6 muscovy's that just hatched. The one with the red marker on its head hatched a day before the others. There is also a picture of their mother who is sitting on a nest with 2 fertile eggs set to hatch on the 14th. -

4/8 eggs have pipped. The first one to pip has made no more progress so I took of the small peice of shell that was starting to break and underneath it there is a white flexible film. Is this the membrane becuase it is very dry? -

I have become noctural from staying up all night to watch the eggs(Im watching them now). The egg in the picture has started rocking back and forth in perfect rythm just about non-stop for the past 30 minutes. -

I think they are ducks but I'm not sure. In all honesty I'm not sure but they do seem like they enjoy each others company. -

I use a hovabator with a turbo fan. I really like it. It has been doing a great job keeping a constant temperature and humidity. I would also reccomend that you use not only the thermomator that comes with it, but go get yourself a digital thermomator/Hygrometer(humidity). If you decide to... -

I put the egg to my ear and you can feel them tapping. I stopped turning and I'm filling one water tray at a time until it gets to 80 pecent humidity. How long do you think untill they hatch?
