Hi everyone,
I have 2 Chocolate Wyandotte cockerels (approx 13 weeks old-GFF line) that I cannot keep. Anyone interested or any ideas how to place them?
Thanks!
Hi all,
I have 2 purebred Chocolate Wyandotte cockerels (approx 12 weeks old-) that were shipped to me mistakenly as pullets. They are nice, but just started their attempts at crowing, so they are definitely NOT pullets. Anyone interested in them? Any idea if 4H would possibly want them?
Are there any good Wyandotte breeders in CT or even nearby New England somewhere? Looking for Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, but love them all. Seems like all the breeders are far away. Need some to add into my existing wyandotte flock...
Ok, the chick has passed on a few minutes ago. I just wonder if this was from shipping or something like weak genetics, etc? I'll be calling the hatchery.
It's hard to feel so helpless when this happens. Poor girl :-(
HI, I just received a small order of baby chicks yesterday and one of them was not standing when I opened the box. It looked weak and so I got it under the heat. It has remained this way ever since, breathing heavily, rolling it's head back and can't keep upright, just lays sometimes twitching...
I have been using Oxine AH (activated/diluted) for a couple of years on my horses feet to clear up fungal issues (works great!) and sometimes for various uses regarding my chickens. I have read a lot of threads here (including the famous Shagbark Bantams article) and other things on the Internet...

Hi all
I'm looking to add to my flock of Wyandotte laying hens and would like avoid the hatcheries if possible, need only about 6-8. Am I stuck with hatcheries if I only want pullet chicks? I like the purebred ones better and want to support someone who cares about his breed. I'd prefer BLRW...
Ok, mystery solved! It was correct that she is hiding a nest, under the coop! I looked there, but she was in the darkest part. Now to get to any eggs under there and keep others from going under there too! It's only big enough for them to go under, not us too!
Thanks for the suggestion, it...
Hi, yesterday one of my hens stopped coming in to roost with the others. She is kind of an independent one, flies over the poultry fence during the day to free range on the property. She comes back in on her own and especially in the evening with the others (we let them all out to free range the...
I have to make some decisions very soon on what to do with my 17 cockerels (26 weeks old) that I got from an order I placed with Paul's Poultry this spring. The farmer down the street is going to process the extras for me, but I am holding out one last hope that someone is interested in taking...
I am still trying to rehome about 15 young Wyandotte roosters from my paulspoultry.com spring chick order. They are all really nice, some do have single combs, but many have the traditional rosecomb. Help me find some good homes for these gorgeous boys...
Approx 20-21 weeks, Blue Laced Red...
Please help! I am trying to rehome three wonderful Black Wyandottes roos. They are beautiful, sweet and respectful to people. They were from a chick order I received from Paul's Poultry this Spring. I just have WAY too many roos here and these seem to be the best quality so far.
Please PM me if...
I really hope so, they are really neat! Yesterday two of them were after a pullet who got caught in my fencing. Luckily I was able to help get them away from her and get her untangled (it's portable fencing) and to safety. I'll be keeping an eye on them, but wonder if I should now separate the...
Do Not Bid...PM me if interested, would like them to go to homes, not freezer camp
I have 17 cockerels from a chick order I received this spring. Since I have 17 pullets/hens total, I have WAY too many males and they are starting to fight amongst themselves (mostly calm though), so I am hoping...
It turns out that I have 17 cockerels from my spring chick order from Paul's Poultry (approx 18 weeks old now). They are all purebred Wyandottes: some Black, Blue Laced Red, Black Laced Red and Columbian Wyandottes. All are adorable and cute and this is SO hard! I know they will be trouble...
