You want them to breed Well? I would suggest to get 1 male with 2 female this is how I do it, the pond doesn't need to be cristal clear,if you clean it once s week you will be fine, pond size: the bigger the better and the deeper the better.
And in regard to stop them from dying inport europian...
hello
first thing, if you want to keep waterfowl and breed scusesfully with them on the most important things is that you need to build a collection of birds that life together with out to much agresion. to this you can partly plan this in theory but you only get a good duck collection together...
i think it is chestnut teal-crosebred with bleu wing teal because they got some blue on thier wings like the male
but as i sed do not breed them or let them breed with an other duck on your pond to get any more crosbred ones that could potentialy fly away
well if you get a pair you get also some things to watch out for agresion, they might not want to lay/sit/raise there chiks
and i woulden advise getting them unless you did allot of research because in america they cost a allot, in europe the juffer cranes cost 800-1100 euro a pair, and they are...
hello
im am 95 percent sure that they are crosbread, i advice you not to breed them because they are not pure, there is 5 percent chance that they are mutation but this is verry unlikely, so i advise you not to breed them, the only way you can now if it is female and male is by sexing them, but...
if you dont want an pair to breed there are 3 options, you take away the eggs when ever they breed, wich would be a shame sieng how much they cost,
not all pairs want to breed in there enclosure, they feel insecure in it,it is to small, or some birds just dont want to breed for 6-7 years then...
the first clutch was infurtile, it is a young couple that is 2,6 years old and it is rare for them to lay eggs now, that cluth was 7 eggs and now she is sitting on a second clutch of 4-5 eggs so this time i have more chance of them bieng fertile, they become fertile there 3rd year :D so fingers...
. Gunther is a male, almost 4 months old. Will he intentially hurt the 2 month old smaller female? I believe it's his size and wings that could hurt her,
i advice you to wait just until they both have past the age of 5 months and then you can put them together, putting smaller chicks with bigger...

i use 2 r-com 20 max and 1 big incubator for my waterfowl eggs and pheaseants, i only use the r-com 20 max for my pheasant and duck eggs if i have no more space i am forced to put them in the big one, the big one is also good but i find breeding with more smaller ones you got better results...
Hello
Really nice of you to give such a great presentation, I breed coscoroba swans on a concrete pond but you also have a really nice setup, just 2 things how big are your aivery/pen for them and when you say they can live up to 40 years personally I think it is a bit long the oldest pair I...
also i would give them no swiming water for 2 days and make sure they eat well then give them swiming water and place to warm up after they went swiming, this way you shouldent get many or any losses, or just put the eggs under a chiken that is sitting on some eggs but make sure you put the...
