    Silkie Coop Questions

I have 2 silkies who are ready for a coop. I have heard that they have trouble/cannot walk up ladders... is this true? If so, what type of coop is best for them so that they are protected from the rain and weather during the winter? Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Adding 2 young Silkies to the Mix

So I have three 6 month old hens and have two 6 week old silkies now. 2 New Baby Silkies-Any Advice?

Meet Dorris and Eleanor! Yesterday I brought home 2 2-week old baby white silkies. I am a proud new mama and would like to train them (as best as you can a chicken). I have been holding them a few hours each day and trying to get them to eat out of my hand. Any other advice or anything that I...

    He or She? Please help!

My 4 month old chicken has become quite aggressive, makes loud noises and looks different from the rest. I'm afraid that it is most likely a roo. I also have no idea what kind it is. Any insight you can give would be very helpful. Thank you! [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img]
