ok, so i have 5 hens that decided that laying in the hay barn is way better than laying in the coop. so is there a way to make them lay in the coop?? I am thinking about blocking where they get in to the hay barn, but i am afraid they will just move their nest?? any ideas??

I need to reduce my heard from 43 to <30, as i know many aren't laying. Has anyone got ideas on how to keep track other than checking the coop a lot during the day?? I started keeping track this week so I am getting an idea on who is laying and who isn't over the past couple days.

I saw a hen had a bubbly eye while she was laying yesterday, so last night i seperated her from the flock and have terramyicin in her water, i am not seeing any other symptoms than puffy/bubble eye....anything else I should look for or do for her and how long should i keep her seperated?
