I have a 3 1/2 month old polish. The crest seems to be falling to one side and pushing down the eyelid. No feathers are in the eye, just the weight of the crest seems to be causing her to "wipe" her eye on her wing. Any suggestions?

I have 3-4 day old chicks. Just wondering if they have pasty butt or just poo on their rear end? I soaked their rear end in water and wiped off the residual. (well as much as I could).. Should that be enough?
We will be receiving our first chicks next week. Our concern is using watering nipples. Is this a good idea for 2-3 day old chicks or not? Would we be better off using the standard water container to begin with? Your thoughts?
