    I have havo-bator. I go into lockdown tomorrow. I cover the wire grate with rubber matting. This cut down my humidity. How can I increase it with out having to constantly check on it? I have used sponges in the past. Pls help I want a good hatch.

    leg problem

    I think my newborn chick has a spraddle leg. It is out to the side slightly. It hatched yesterday after breaking internal membrane 2½ days prior. It is not using the leg. Doesn't look deformed. Can I wrap it anyway? My phone won't let me upload pictures.

    incubator temp

    I have a question regarding temp. My incubator is having trouble holding the right temp. Should I keep it a little on the cold side? I have a new thermostat coming any day now to switch it out.

    lockdown temp issues

    Every time I go into lockdown and I remove my turner, my temp drops. Even after I adjust the thermostat as much as possible I can't get it above 96°. Does anyone know if putting a heating pad under the bator itself would help our inside under eggs.

    Not sure where to put this. I need to know what you call that thing that when the hen lays the egg the egg goes down into something to prevent the chicken from pecking at them. I have a bad egg eating problem and don't want to have to cull any of them.

    hate each other

    I have a trio. Is it possible that the girls don't like each other? They are of laying age. But don't lay. Both in good health, have food and water, sunlight. Can't think of any other reason why not laying yet. One is a 10 month old br. The other is a 6 month old blrw.
